The Housing Authority of the City of Perth Amboy (HAPA) administers 437 conventional public housing units; two (2) senior citizens and/or disabled high rise buildings, and five (5) multifamily complexes. The Housing Authority provides safe and decent housing to low income families, senior citizens, and disabled individuals with federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
